Finding the correct number
ENA register has now moved to the ENA connect website. The old site is no longer updated.
Step 1
https://connect-direct.energynetworks.org/
Step 2
Select Live Device Register
Step 3
Select filters
Step 4
You can the filter section on the right to narrow down the search. Typically you are looking for a specific model so you can search this direct.
Step 5
Select one of the references to see what is covered.
Notes,
Depending on when the device was registered there will be separate ref numbers for G100.
Some newer devices will have multiple certifications covered by the one ref number.
Inverters 50kW+
There has been a change to the ENA in the last few years. Any device that is above 50kW must be put through as a Partially Type tested. SOLIS or ANY OTHER BRAND have to follow this guidance.
Voltage Flicker and Harmonics are required to be accessed on a site by site basis. Different DNOs have different processes on how to do this. Either a site witness test or a copy of the A2-3 form is the most common way we have seen to satisfy but the installer should discuss this with their DNO.
Older devices are listed in the register under 'Fully Type Tested' and remain unchanged from previous applications. This may lead to confusion between DNOs and installers
