DSP Update Procedure

  1. Prepare USB Stick

    • Place 20862API.bin and 20862APP.bin files on a USB stick, ensuring 20862APP.bin is named correctly and not in a folder or zipped.
    • Ensure no other files are on the USB stick.
  2. Connect Firmware Update Tool

    • Insert USB into the Firmware Update Tool and connect to the inverter's 4-pin green port.
    • The tool should light up red and green.
  3. Inverter Settings

    • On the inverter display, go to Advanced Settings, enter password 0010, select "Turn Grid On/Off," and turn it OFF.
    • Return to Advanced Settings, enter the password again, and select DSP Update. Verify the current version.
  4. Initiate DSP Update

    • Select Enter on DSP Update. The green light on the tool should start flashing.
    • Press the button on the Firmware Update Tool to begin the update. Watch for the green light to flash rapidly, then slowly.
  5. Completion

    • When the green and red lights turn solid, the update is complete.
    • If the green light goes dark and then reappears after 4–5 seconds, the update was successful.
    • Verify the version change after the inverter’s LCD operation light stops blinking.
  6. Turn Grid Back On

    • In Advanced Settings, enter password 0010, select "Turn Grid On/Off," and turn it ON if production is ready.

HMI Update Procedure
